In 1996 a tribute to Queen named “Queen Dance Traxx” was released with contains sixteen covers from Queen. Dance acts (the ones that where highly successful at that time) were asked to make a dance version of a Queen track.
Dune decided to make a classical version instead. And because of the international succes of Dune’s version the re-issue of “Queen Dance Traxx 1” was published with Dune’s “Who Wants To Live Forever” at track number 17.

This version of the original Queen-song was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road studios in London including a 60 man orchestra. And after the huge succes Dune decided to record a full album of classics together with The Londen Session Orchestra.
