Following nearly a year’s absence, DUNE returned in April 1998 with a new single and a new singer, Vanessa Hörster. “Keep The Secret” marked a change in style for the project, the song being more electro and trance like than their previous work. The lyrics and video imagery reference the Egyptian pyramids and pharaohs, imagery that would also be used for the planned album “5”.

The song charted and peaked at No. 38, spending a total of 7 weeks in the German Top 100. The single failed to chart in other European territories.
