“Over The Mountain” was a single produced by Bernd and Jens for the DUNE dancer Anna Alcos, and was separate to the main DUNE project. It was released on Orbit Records during the late summer of 1996.

The single failed to chart on the German Top 100, but it was featured on Volume 14 of the popular “Bravo Hits” series.

• A video was shot for the single release in Brighton, England. It was directed by Oliver Summer.


• “Over The Mountain” contains an interpolation of the track “Hurra, wir fliegen!”, written by Christian Bruhn for the soundtrack of Anime series ‘Captain Future’. The series was shown on German TV by ZDF from 1980 onwards.


• The song features the vocals of Oliver’s niece Janine (‘Fly to the moon’) and was recorded in the Dune studio.


• Anna Alcos was a Dune (background) dancer from 1994 till 1998 and even appeared in the video for “Can’t Stop Raving”.
